What makes Gentle Family Nutrition’s approach different?
We all have a history with food.
For our children we can change unhealthy feeding behaviors and prevent eating disorders from taking root. For ourselves we can uproot corrupted food beliefs and eating habits.
When we take care of ourselves and others from the place of love and acceptance, healing happens. With clear roles in regards to feeding and eating, boundaries, and structure nutrition thrives.
Healing our relationship with food is a process, but the process produces results. It nourishes our body and soul.

So many health problems don’t have a clear medical solution.
Especially for women. Nutrition and women’s health go hand and hand. But changing our lifestyle and eating behaviors is such a delicate journey. A journey that needs the support of others. We have the power to guide one another to make healthier lifestyle choices from a place of compassion and encouragement.
There is no magic diet, drug treatment, or therapy that is going to produce our desired results. We can only try to make healthier choices and grow from our experience.
For me and my husband our struggle with infertility has lead us to try many treatments and therapies. The most important thing I have learned from our journey is to value our effort and that the results are up to God. To let go of the shame and self sabotage. Our critical voices don’t encourage us to make healthy choices, which are so important for our overall health.
What I hope to offer in the group workshops is try to create a space where we motivate one another to love ourselves and care for ourselves throughout our journey as women.
